Sierra Leone U20 captain Ishmail Kamara has admitted his side lost to a better side in Ghana after the Black Satellites fought from behind to brush them aside in the second-leg of the African Youth Champions qualifier on Saturday.

The Young Leone Stars took a first-half lead through an Ibrahim Konte well-steered free-kick in the 29th minute but Ghana fought strongly from behind to equalise through U17 graduate Thomas Agyepong before Latif Abubakari sealed the win to send Ghana through on a 4-1 aggregate.

Despite crashing out on a heartbreaking note, captain Kamara feels the 2009 World Champions were stronger than his side.

"We did everything we could and took the lead but they fought back and won the game. It was a good game," he said in the post-match interview to an Asempa FM commentator.

Ghana will face the winner of the Rwanda-Gabon clash in the last phase of the qualifiers.
