Former Ghana defender Shilla Illiasu and his elder brother Alhassan have signed for struggling Premier League side Real Tamale United.
Illiasu has recovered from a career threatening ankle injury and looks set to return to the pitch after three years in the treatment room.
The 28-year-old was released by Russian Premier League side FC Saturn.
His inclusion in Ghanaââ¬â¢s squad for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations sparked controversy after he failed to regain his fitness and never kicked a ball during the tournament duration.
Alhassan, a striker, has agreed to sign a five-month contract with the Tamale-based side with a move to Egyptian Premier League side Ismailia pending.
He joins from Ghanaian second tier side Guan United.
