An official of Sharp Arrows, Uriah Cubaji says the club is readying itself for a lengthy legal battle with the Ghana FA for their ‘unfair’ expulsion from this year's FA Cup competition.

A Disciplinary Committee ruling saw the Kintampo-based club dumped out of the competition following their inability to honour the Round of 64 game with Hearts back in January – advancing the Phobians in the process.

But Cubaji who is a management member of the third tier club says the DC’s ruling will be challenged to the hilt while exposing the ‘Mafia’ at the Ghana FA.

“One thing I can assure football fans is that Sharp Arrows will take the GFA on and will set the records straight,” he told Kumasi-based Angel FM.

“We will expose all the mafias in Ghana football even if it takes we going to court, and there is no way Hearts of Oak will take part in the FA Cup.

“All the mafias at the GFA will be exposed. Owaahene Acheampong is number one, Alhaji MND Jawula is number two and as for Ampim-Darko, I don’t want to even comment.

“Kurt Okraku is the last one, they are four and I can assure you we will expose them.”

Cubaji adds the decision to ‘unjustifiably’ eliminate Sharp Arrows from the competition is highly ‘criminal’ which will not stand the test of time.

“Do they (GFA) think we are fools? We don’t have a problem with Hearts of Oak it is with the GFA.

“This decision is criminal and I think they (GFA) just want to test our temperature but we are more intelligent for this.

“When we receive official notification we will ask which law school whoever wrote the verdict attended.

“We are ready to take them on even if they want to ban us. We will take them all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary because they cannot bully Kintampo Sharp Arrows.”

Hearts of Oak as things stand are billed to play Dunkwa United in an outstanding Round 32 game on April 25.
