Ghanaian talent tavern Shadrach Eghan emerged victorious over fellow countryman Christian Atsu when they two players clash in the Dutch top-flight on Saturday.Â
Interestingly both players started the game at the Grolsche Veste Stadion wearing the 19 jersey as Twente kept up their Eredivisie challenge with a 2-0 victory over fellow title hopefuls Vitesse Arnhem.
Eghan, 19, whose form has wowed many in Holland this season played an influential role as Twente hopped to second place while Atsu's Vitesse trekked further down the log with their title hopes further slipping away.
Before being replaced in the 65th minute, the Akosombo-born had worried the visitors defence with his extraordinary abilities on the flanks.
In the 72nd minute, Atsu was replaced by Moroccan international Zakaria Labyad.
