Alfred Duncan could return to Livorno

Ghana youth midfielder Alfred Duncan could be on his way back to Livorno as the Serie A new-boys have expressed interest in signing him from giants Inter Milan.

The 20-year-old played an instrumental in Livorno's Serie A promotion campaign scoring in their play-off against Empoli.

Livorno boss Davide Nicola has remained faithful in the powerful midfielder as he seek to maintain a blend of youth and experience to keep the Amaranto in the Italian top-flight.

Despite Livorno's enormous interest in the youngster, Inter would only allow Duncan, who played at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup for Ghana, to leave for the Stadio Armando Picchi on loan.

He is likely to be accompanied by striker Samuele Longo who played as a loanee at Espanyol last season.
