Asante Kotoko could be without key striker Seidu Bansey for their Ghana Premier League clash with New Edubiase United on Sunday.
The 23-year-old twisted his ankle during training on Thursday morning and has not been able to part take in any of the Porcupine Warriors’s training sessions.
Kotoko team doctors have been working around the clock to get Bansey fit for the game but it is unlikely he will miss the game.
Bansey scored the only goal of the game for in their derby clash with Hearts of Oak last weekend.
Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani must find a suitable replacement for the striker but winger Michael Helegbe is also a doubt after missing the Hearts game with injury.
