Seedorf wants Kevin-Prince Boateng to justify number 10 jersey

Posted On Wednesday, 26th December 2012

Kevin Boateng has failed to perform as Milan's number 10

AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf says Kevin-Prince Boateng must do more to justify why he deserves to wear the number 10 jersey.

Many Milan fans have been critical of the performances of the retired Ghana international who was handed the iconic jersey number this season.

Seedorf, who wore the jersey for six years before leaving the club in June,

“My jersey No. 10 to El Shaarawy? But someone else (Boateng) has already taken it,” the Dutchman said in an interview.
“Some people think that Boateng is a legitimate heir to the number 10 than Ibrahimovic but but in the end, performance will tell you if a player deserve to wear it.”
