Posted On Saturday, 9th March 2013

Scenes of violence in the game between Ahantas FC and Dolphins

Western Regional-based lower division side Great Ahantas FC have been slapped with an indefinite ban after irate supporters attacked Dolphins in a League which turned violent.

Irate fans of the home side invaded the pitch to attack players, officials and management with clubs and stones resulting in serious injuries.

Irate supporters of Ahantas FC, obviously unhappy after Dolphins had taken a 1-0 lead with two minutes left to play, started chanting war songs and pounced on any opponent on sight, resulting in fatal injuries.

The barbaric incident could incur the wrath of the Ghana FA who are likely to come down heavy on the home side.
