Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng remains a doubt to feature for Schalke 04 against Augsburg at home on Friday night in the Bundesliga.
The 27-year-old is yet to recover fully from an ankle injury he picked during last week’s UEFA Champions League tie against Sporting Lisbon.
Boateng sat out last Saturday’s 1-0 win at Bayer Leverkusen but he is to fully recover.
Schalke are also facing doubts over fielding centre-back Joel Matip who has not even trained this week because of an ankle pain.
