Have Your Say: Who should be Ghana’s number one goalkeeper at the 2014 World Cup

Published on: 01 March 2014

The longer Fatau Dauda stays on the Orlando Pirates bench, Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has to decide what is good for the country ahead of the World Cup finals and that means giving Adam Kwarasey and others a ago.

The global showpiece is barely four months away and the position of who becomes the  country’s number one goalkeeper has become a topical in the West African country.

Current number one Fatau Dauda has been dropped for next week’s international friendly against Montenegro but officials insist he will make the World Cup squad.

But with Adam Kwarasey, Stephen Adams, Richard Kingson and Razak Brimah playing week-in-week out, should the coach give them the nod?

South Africa-based Daniel Agyei is also in the running while Isaac Amoako, George Owu and Foli Adade are considered outsiders.
