Sarpong eyes more goals for Hercules

Posted On Tuesday, 27th November 2012

Jeffrey Sarpong scored his first goal for Hercules

Would-be Ghana international Jeffrey Sarpong hopes to score more goals for Hercules in the Spanish second-tier after netting his debut on Saturday.

The former Netherlands youth international snatched the equalizer in the 1-1 draw with Sporting Gijon

“I’m happy with the goal and I hope to score more. It is an important goal for the team and I hope to work to remain a starter,” Sarpong said.

“Every game I feel stronger and want to continue in eleven more matches.”

Sarpong missed the team’s pre-season after joining on the final day of the transfer deadline.
