Sarfo Castro to return to Kotoko after end of season

Posted On Thursday, 6th September 2012

Heart of Lions new coach Sarfo Castro will return to Asante Kotoko after the end of the 2012/13 league season.

Heart of Lions new coach Sarfo Castro will return to Asante Kotoko after the end of the 2012/13 league season.

The former B/A United trainer joined the Kpando-based side from champions Asante Kotoko where he was assistant coach last season to Maxwell Konadu.

Castro is still contracted to the Porcupine Warriors and was allowed to exit the Baba Yara Stadium on a season long-loan.

“I’m still under contract with Kotoko but Dr Sarpong allowed me to join Heart of Lions and I will return after the end of the season,” he told Accra-based Peace FM.

He replaced Ken August who was sacked from Lions after leading the ‘Giant killers’ to an uninspiring 12th place finish.
