Samuel Inkoom could leave Houston Dynamo

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is close to leaving MLS club Houston Dynamo over stalled negotiations on his personal terms, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The 25-year-old was traded by DC United alongside Joe Willis for Andrew Driver late last year but was yet to agree to personal terms to concretize the move.

Dynamo have made an offer which is unacceptable to the Ghanaian player - leading to a stalemate.

The club have over the past three months failed to reach an agreement with the right-back to enable him sign a professional contract with the club.

A source close to the Ghana defender told GHANAsoccernet.com: “Inkoom has been in talks with the club for the past three months but there still remain a dispute over his personal terms.

“Talks are still ongoing but an agreement is not yet in sight.”

The ongoing dispute over personal terms could lead to the cancellation of Inkoom’s trade to Houston Dynamo.

The former FC Basel man is desperate to get his club career back on track after three-months in the wilderness.
