Defender Samson Cudjoe is looking ahead to a bright season with Hearts of Oak after revealing he fell out of favour with previous coach Mohammed Polo.

The 26-year-old who was signed by David Duncan fell down the perking order with the Phobians following the appointment of Mohammed Polo last November.

Many believed the former Medeama player was one of the players being referred to by Polo as ‘rebels’ due to their known loyalty to David Duncan.

Cudjoe however prefers to put behind his nightmarish time under the ex Ghana star as he looks to win back his regular first team place under new coach Herbert Addo.

“Sometimes you fall out of favour with the coach and that is what happened between me and coach Polo,” he told Radio Gold.

“I wouldn’t say it was a bad season, it was an unlucky season for me.

“But he is g9ne now and we are working under a new coach so I hope to play more games this season.”
