Sampdoria have intensified their pursuit of Ghanaian youngster Joseph Alfred Duncan.
The 19-year-old, who is currently involved in promotional play-offs with Livorno is expected to return to parent club Inter Milan after the end of the competition.
Sampdoria officials have been impressed with the performance of the talented Ghanaian youth star and prepared to swoop for his services, according to reports in Italy.
Inter will assess the situation of Duncan before deciding on his long-term future at the club.
But it is unlikely Duncan will be sold outright but could be farmed out to another Italian club if the deal is mutually beneficial.
