South African side Sundowns have terminated the contracts of Ghanaian duo of Emmanuel Baffour and Mumuni Abubakar, paving way for the duo to move on as free agents.
The duo were signed at the beginning of 2012/13, but failed to make any impact with the writing already on the wall about their departure as of the end of last season.
Following the closure of the PSL transfer window on Friday at 5pm, the two players’ contracts have been terminated by the Brazilians.
They were both linked with moves to Europe but nothing materialised.
Abubakar has now joined Black Leopards and was not be affected by the transfer window because he is a free agent.
Baffour is also expected to join Black Leopards also as a free agent.
