Defender Robin Gnagne has been handed the captain’s armband at Ghanaian giants Hearts.

The Ivorian takes over the responsibility from Moro Abubakar who has left for Europe.

Gnagne was handed the leadership role following his commitment and long service to the club.

Ghana Under-20 captain Owusu Bempah will deputize with experienced midfielder Kofi Abanga being named the general captain of the club.

Hearts will be challenge for honours on all fronts this season after going trophyless for more than three years.
