Ghana defender Daniel Opare has suffered yet another injury at Besiktas.

The 24-year-old has been hit with a ‘minor’ hamstring injury and will be ruled out of Sunday’s big Turkish League clash at Fenerbahce.

Opare had just returned from injury to resume his good form since joining Besiktas on loan from FC Porto in January.

The former Real Madrid starlet’s form has been on an amazing rise in Turkey where he is fast establishing himself as a regular first team player.

His latest injury setback – believed to have been suffered in the shocking 3-1 defeat to Club Brugge in the Europa League on Thursday night – is feared to derail his progress.

The Ghana international however remained upbeat of his fragile health situation at the moment.

“Minor hamstring injury setback but I promise to be back stronger than before. Nothing can stop the fire burning,” Opare posted with an accompanying picture on Instagram.
