Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has been banned for two games by the Lega Serie A following his sending off at the weekend for Atalanta.

The 21-year-old was dismissed in stoppage time after picking up two yellow cards as his side lost 2-1 at home to AS Roma.

Boakye is said to have made complaints against the officials after receiving his first yellow card.

He will be unavailable for the trip to Empoli on Sunday and the home clash against Cesena next month.

Boakye, co-owned by Juventus, has made 11 appearances this season and scored two goals for the Orobici.
