Goalkeeper Richard Kingson will join Ghana’s squad late due to club commitment in the Cypriot top-flight.
Ghana’s invited 25 players are expected to open camp in Accra on Monday and train at the Accra Sports Stadium the next day.
The 35-year-old will be in action for Doxa on Monday night when they host Apollon at the Makareio Stadio in Nicosia.
He can only join his international teammates on Wednesday before they leave for Kumasi.
Kingson has been the first choice goalkeeper for Doxa and played every minute of their four league matches so far.
Though Doxa are seventh on the league table, his club are not ready to release him early for the international assignment.
The ex-Blackpool gloves man has been absent from the Ghana team for two years due to his inactivity at club level.
He has 90 international caps and was between the sticks at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup finals.
