Saban Quaye has been installed as new Team Manager of Hearts of Oak, five years after leaving the club.

Quaye, who doubles as Black Stars team manager, has aimed at instilling discipline in the side.

His last club assignment was at Liberty Professionals but quit to concentrate on the national team job.

"I just want to start from where I left off. They way we comported ourselves, the way we put discipline into the system, the way I helped the rest of the technical team to build the glorious Hearts of Oak before I left," Quaye told the media at the Hearts training ground.

In 2009, Quaye has announced his departure from Hearts of Oak's backroom staff citing death threats from the fans.

He had a frosty relationship with the fans after the departure of Serbian coach Kosta Papic and accused of his wanton interference in the work of new boss Nii Noi Thompson.

Quaye won titles during his initial six-year stay including the maiden edition of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2004.
