A renowned medical Doctor has adopted Michael Anaba in a move that will see him absorb the salaries of the highly-rated midfielder.

Doctor Ernest Opoku who owns the Red Hill Medical Centre in Kumasi has also offer the Ghana Under-20 star an accommodation at his plush residence.

Anaba’s attitude both on and off the field is believed to have inspired the medical practioner to offer him the kind gesture.

“You will call it adoption but I call it integration. I have decided to integrate Michael as a member of my family with all the privileges that my family enjoy. I will take full charge of his accommodation here, water, electricity and feeding,” Dr Opoku told the Kotoko Express

“He has moved in to stay with us in our home and he will be catered for in full as any of my family members, brothers or children will have. He has full access to our kitchen, our medical centre and my attention,”

“On top of that a cheque will be paid to him to cover his salaries every quarter of the year. The intention of the quarterly payment is to always make him have huge sums of money every quarter to invest.

“It is my hope that he will be so well catered for here that he wouldn’t have to spend money to buy anything that will drain him financially,”

He continued: Anaba is a gentleman and a true one as such. He is humble and above all, he is business minded when it comes to doing his assigned roles on the field of play. He is technically disciplined and tactically astute,”

“As a matter of fact, Michael came in highly recommended by his own colleagues who kept praising his virtues in the many informal interviews we had with most of his colleagues,”

They all love him and feel very easy and free commenting on how gentle and respectful he relates with them,”

“I am doing this today but I believe there are many more of my kind out there who can do more than I am doing today. I encourage them to come out of their shells and help ease the burden on the club we all love and adore”.

The humility of the former Windy Professionals hard tackling midfielder has not only endear him to the management and his colleagues but the club’s teeming followers.

Anaba is now sole occupant of the second floor of the Red Hill lodge.

He has a private bathroom, a fully air-conditioned room, a gymnasium, a 24hrs internet service and a full bouquet DSTV satellite TV service.
