Ghana defender John Boye must pass a late fitness test for Stade Rennes to play in Sunday’s French Ligue 1 home clash with Saint Etienne.
The 24-year-old is yet to recover from an ankle injury he picked in training on Thursday and might miss out of Saint Etienne’s visit to the Route de la Lorient.
“I’m still feeling pains in my ankle. I picked the injury during training on Thursday. So I’m waiting to see if I can play,” Boye told GHANAsoccernet.com
The former Kpando Heart of Lions centre-back has lasted the durations of Rennes’ last three games in all competitions.
Boye is surely a candidate for the CB position in the B/S,he has been in terrific form this season. His height is also a plus, there are so many good players that will add quality to our team but there are been over looked due to favoritism.
