Rennes offer five-year deal to Manchester United's Ghanaian U20 target Odjer
Moses Odjer has been handed a five-year deal by Rennes.

French side Rennes have offered Ghana U20 midfielder Moses Odjer a five-year-old deal in the wake of the reported interest from Manchester United.

The 16 year-old has also been linked with the Portuguese clubs FC Porto and Benfica but Rennes want to snare him up.

The French side could convince the diminutive midfielder with the successful spells compatriots Asamoah, John Mensah and now John Boye have had at the club.

The Tema Youth player has been impressive for the Black Satellites who have reached the semi-final at the FIFA U20 World Cup.

He scored the opener in Ghana's dramatic 4-3 win over Chile in the quarter-final clash on Sunday.

Odjer is also wanted by Italian Serie A side Chievo Verona.
