Frenchman Renard Herve has been appointed coach for Ghana’s 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifying opponents Zambia.
Herve was Ghana physical trainer and assistant coach during the 2008 Nations Cup finals.
He replaces Italian coach Dario Bonetti who recently qualified Zambia for the 2012 Nations Cup finals.
Herve was Zambia coach between May 2008 and February 2010 but quit his post for a lucrative deal with the Palancas Negras of Angola.
He was sacked barely six months into his contract.
Herve guided Zambia to a third finish at the inaugural Caf African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Ghana play Zambia in Lusaka on 8 June 2012 in the second Group D qualifier.

Yea right, as if that is going to help them beat the Black Stars. It will never happens.

watch and see boy
I hope they did not sack Dario for the guy who left them for more money elsewhere but got fired (in Angola). It’s like getting rid of Plavi and bringing in Milo. Anyway what do we care. We just need to prepare well for a strong Zambian side regardless of who they fire or hire as their head coach, and we’ll be fine.
