Ghanaian referees are primed to have a good run in the upcoming season according to FIFA and CAF instructor Joseph Wellington.
Concerns have been raised in recent seasons over the quality of officiating in the Ghanaian top flight and even heightened in the lower divisions.
But ex referee Wellington believes the referees are well equipped this term to offer improved services in the season which intends to be highly competitive.
“I think we have gotten them ready for the task ahead,” he told Accra-based Radio Gold.
“The bashing from the supporters is something we have to deal with.
“I don’t want to hear the issue of bribes. Let’s talk about positive things that will make the game develop.”
