Red Star want Lee Addy to sign for Chinese club

Red Star have ordered Lee Addy to sign for newly-promoted Chinese side Dalian

Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade have ordered Ghana defender Lee Addy to sign for newly-promoted Chinese Super League side Dalian Aerbin.

Dalian have offered to pay 1.7 million Euros for the services of the versatile defender.

Red Star, who are cash-strapped, have told him to sign for the Asian side before 20 December.

Addy will sign a three-year deal if he agrees to join the side.

His former club Berekum Chelsea will get 30 percent of his transfer per the agreement which exists between the two clubs.

But the 21-year-old is not keen on the move to the Chinese top flight.

“I must admit that I have not thought about China but I heard that the standard of the league is good and very competitive,” Addy said.

Addy has played 13 out of the 15 matches for Red Star Belgrade and has two years left on his contract.

Dalian Aerbin won the Chinese second-tier league to pick one of the two promotional slots.

Has Ghanasoccernet turned into the PRO of this below standard player? Why are you guys so keen on making a case for Addy who is clearly not good enough to wear the Black Stars shirt? This guy couldn’t make the cut at Red Star and wants to move to China where he deserves to be. Simple!

  2. Kuntry says:

@richard, wat is da name of da site? ghanasoccernet, meaning evry news concerning any ghanaian footballer or club is wat dey deal in, so allow dem 2 work

    • quophai says:

spot on my bro. sometimes people let mere sentiments and emotions confuse their judgments. I am sure Richards emotions got the better of him. Azonto should howvever be patient. All we do here is for mother Ghana and the forward movement of football.

  3. Richard says:

I guess Azonto has shown to everyone who is an idiot here. He’s a fool because he couldn’t make any comment but just came in with an insult. Opinions are like noses and everybody has one. I guess ur comment shows that what i said is true afterall. Anyway why do i get the impression that you work for this site? By your deeds you shall all be fished out one by one. Stop taking the players’ money with useless write-ups and place mother Ghana first. Come again “Azaa-nto”

  4. BISTY says:

IS HE GOING TO PLAY FOOTBALL OR GROW RICE,I I TAUGHT CHINA IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE ENDING THEIR GAME.

  5. danny alvez says:

hahaha…i think he is going there to grow rice.only in ghana that u will see players like lee ady who should be given the arm band of the amputee team be seen playing for the bs.

  6. Real sabacious says:

Well said richard and daniel alves,i wonder who’s behind the imposition of this lee addy on the stars.for me,he’s the worse player in the last 10yrs to ever don the stars jersey.no single quality can be said about him as a footballer apart from his usual boom boom and stressing his own keeper.i get really upset anytime i see tagoe and him lee addy in the national team jersey.
