Red Bull Salzburg coach Roger Schmidt has hailed defender Isaac Vorsah despite recent criticisms of his performance.
The Ghana international has been faulted by the club fans for the side’s increased slack displays in the Austrian top flight.
The 24-year-old admitted to his poor performance in the astonishing 3-2 win at Wacker Innsbruck last weekend.
But coach Schmidt insists Vorsah has made a lot of difference in his team since arriving in from German club TSG Hoffenheim.
“He (Vorsah) has already proved an entirely different level, how much quality he has. There we want to go with him again,” Schmidt said.
The ex Asante Kotoko player has established himself as a regular at the Wals-Siezenheim based club.
He has made 13 starts already and has been sent off once since arriving in January.
Vorsah has been listed on Ghana’s roster for their 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Sudan at the Baba Yara Stadium this Sunday.
I know this lad’s problem. He is almost 7 feet. He has a lighter upper body than his lower which makes him considerably slow. Moreover he has too straight long legs which puts his ground stability at doubt. Just see you physician man and u would be good
well seen. hahahaa
YOU ARE AN IDIOT!
Hey stop that azaa physics over there. Kurasini boy!
he is getting to lowers stand at this moment,,because we saw him from AGOLA he has now come to end ,you must left up that foam again, this stage is world cup body so if we exit from it GHana will crazy, therefore he have to know that you are the heart of defends now,in that concern everybody is welcome you to stand there to seek win’s for Ghana,,,,,,,,,
vorsah is an excellent player with duality. he is capable of a holding midfielder. though he may have his flaws in some department, one thing we cant refuse to recognise is his desicive low pass. it was piercing and i’d guarantee 85-90%, they were accurate. if am wrong someone should do a highlight on his passes from defence into midfield and see he’s got the skill there. at 24 he still has a lot to offer so i’ll rather recommend constructive criticism against him and encourage him. we must not forget he had just recovered from a slight injury during the afcon. overall he tried and his hellish hair style impose some fear in the opponent.
his objective should be to improve in each game he could even handle the captaincy or boye could do that.
its just an insight and not intended to light any flames against potential contenders in the future. Go Ghana Go.
I THINK CHU IS RIGHT. THE FACTS LOOK SIMILAR TO HIS PERFORMANCE AT THE AFCON. AND AS FOR PAUL, THE LEAST SAID ABOUT YOU THE BETTER. BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO SPELL CIVILISED, YOU WRITE KURASINI. YOU HAVE SHOWN YOUR VILLAGE KUMASI BEHAVIOUR IN A SENTENCE. WHO OPENED THIS SITE FOR AN ILLITERATE LIKE YOU. THE PERSON MUST BE CHARGED WITH ABETTING IGNORANCE. CAN YOU WROTE WHAT CHU HAS WRITTEN? I WOULD CLOSE MY ACCOUNT IF YOU DID. STUPENDOUSLY IDIOTIC PAUL. FOOOOOOL
Thanx SNOW DEMON. But this does not call for insults. Let the lad have his opinion but educate him to be wise and cool on others
