Red Bull Salzburg technical director Ralf Rangnick is thrilled with the debut goal for Ghanaian defender Isaac Vorsah

Vorsah, 24, was on hand to turn in Schiemer’s header from a free-kick to restore Red Bull’s two goal lead as they beat SV Mattersburg 3-1 to move top of the table in the Austrian League over the weekend.

Rangnick who was instrumental in bringing the towering figure to the Austrian champions is delighted with his influential displays for the side.

“I am happy for Vorsah, aside defending, he has exhibited that when the needs arise he can also score goals and this is very good for the team,” Rangnick told the club’s official website.

Vorsah joined Salzburg after spending five years at German outfit Hoffenheim.
