Recovering Agyemang-Badu gets Ghana FA visit

Ghana FA Executive Committee member Felix Ansong has visited Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu as he continues his rehabilitation from injury.

The Udinese midfielder injured his knee while on Nations Cup duty for the Black Stars last mo0nth in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The 21-year-old’s absence coincided with Ghana’s defeat at the hands of eventual winners Zambia at the semi final stage - emphasizing his importance to the national team during the month-long competition.

Agyemang-Badu who is said to be in the final stages of his recovery couldn’t hide his joy at receiving the prestigious guest from the Ghana FA who is also a member of the Black Stars management committee.

“The GFA have sent someone to come and check up on how I am doing. Very nice of them,” the U-20 World Cup winner tweeted.

The visit is in line with the Ghana FA’spolicy to keep in touch with all national team playersespecially when going through a difficult injury spell.

The former Berekum Arsenal player has gone on to make 31 appearances for the Black Stars scoring four goals in the process since making his debut against Lesotho in 2008.
