Real Madrid wing-back Marcelo is full of praise for teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Marcelo was caught out last week when declaring Barcelona ace Lionel Messi as the ‘best player in the world’, before backtracking.

The Brazilian said: “Cristiano Ronaldo is a machine. He had a fabulous season. It’s amazing to score so many goals. I think he’s had the best stats in his career. He is a great teammates and an exemplary professional. He trains extra and works hard.”
