Joseph Alfred Duncan and Baba Abdul Rahman could be available for the first leg of the African Youth qualifier against Morocco this weekend.
The duo missed the two-legged tie against Uganda due to club commitments but officials are hoping they will be released for the crucial first leg tie to be played at the Tamale stadium on Sunday.
Head coach Maxwell Konadu and his backroom staff are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to ensure they win convincinghly against the North African giants to make the second leg a mere formality.
“We are taken the game against our opponent very seriously. We are hoping to have Alfred Duncan and Baba Abdul Rahman for the fixture,” Satellites assistant coach Prince Owusu said
“The FA have sent a letter to their respective clubs hoping that they will be released in time for the game.
“Preparations are going as planned. We just want the fans to come out in their numbers to support the team.”
The Black Satellites have touched base in the Northern Regional capital where they are expected to intensify preparations.
Every country in Africa want to beat Ghana, so the coaching staff should really motivate the players to play above themselves. No more excuses, we were once West Africa, Africa and World Champions, we should never forget that.
