Rahim Ayew has expressed his delight at the reception received at Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
The Ghana midfielder is on the verge of completing a move to the club after undergoing a successful medical on Thursday.
The 25-year-old was met by top officials of the club at the airport before he was driven to the Baba Yara stadium Hospital where he underwent the medical.
The former Eleven Wise versatile player has expressed his delight at the reception accorded him in the Garden City.
“To be honest with you the reception accorded me was fantastic. They truly understands the game and appreciate people,” Ayew said
“It’s up to me to me give off my best for the club. I must admit it was amazing and I really appreciate it.
“Great club with wonderful people. I know what I’m capable of doing and I will do my best to help the club achieve laurels this season.”
The first son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele has revealed he is 99% certain of joining the club and could put pen-to-paper on a long term deal in the coming days.
