Ayew adjudged best player in Lierse fightback at Lokeren

Rahim Ayew won the Man-of-the-Match award on Saturday

Ghana midfielder Rahim Ayew emerged the Man-of-the-Match in SK Lierse’s 2-2 draw at Lokeren on Saturday.

The 24-year-old put in a solid performance from an unusual right-back position to help his side draw level after going 2-0 down by halftime.

The Ghana intentional missed the most parts of last season due to persistent injuries.

He has now fully recovered to put in consistent displays in the Belgian top flight.

Lierse are currently hovering above the relegation zone haven picked up 10 points from 10 games this season.

What a game he Had? Ströng on d ball, owesome in his tackles, solid in the air n very electric wen going forward. I’ve never seen him play dat well. I think he sld change his role frm midfielder to a Right-back coz dat is where i see his GLORY. He is never tired… Gud wit both feet wen crossing n hard to disposses wen dribbling.
