QPR axe Patrick Agyemang from Premier League squad

Posted On Saturday, 3rd September 2011

By Akyereko Frimpong-Manson

Promoted English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers have omitted burly Ghanaian forward Patrick Agyemang from their 25-man squad for the 2011/12 season.

The 31-year-old has featured in two out of the Hoops opening three days of the season but has been left out of Neil Warnock’s final squad list.

The Shepherd’s Bush-based side made some big name signings on the last day of the transfer window with Shaun Wright-Philips and Anton Ferdinand all joining.

Clubs had to name a line-up of players who are OVER 21 and at least eight of them had to be home-grown

Agyemang has two caps for Ghana.
