Ghana U-20 midfielder Prosper Kassim says he is in pain after Ghana suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Nigeria in the on-going Africa Youth Championship in Senegal.

The Black Satellites had a lion’s share of territorial dominance but could not convert the hatful of scoring chances that came their way in both halves.

With Nigerian's Obinna Nwobodo and Mohammed Musah scoring the vital goals to knock Ghana out. Kassim says the defeat has left a bitter taste in his mouth.

“Very disappointed given the performance we put up yesterday but sometimes that is how football is,” Kassim told Ghanasoccernet.com

“It’s obviously very disappointing but it’s not the end of the world.”

The defeat to Nigeria means Ghana will finish lower than the second place finish they chalked the previous edition.
