Albert Bruce is in fine form for Legia Warsaw

Promising Ghanaian midfielder Albert Bruce is relishing a return to the national Under-20 team after they bagged qualification to next year’s African Youth Championship.
The 19-year-old was a member of the 2011 squad that failed to progress past the group phase in the African Youth Championship held in South Africa.
But after turning in fine performances for Polish side Legia Warsaw, the former Asante Kotoko enforcer is confident he can break into the team if given the opportunity.
“I would like to congratulate the players. They have made all of us very proud,” Bruce told GHANAsoccernet.com
“I am 19 which means I can still feature for the team. I am just hoping I get the chance to state a case for myself.
“My confidence level has shot up, tactically and technically I am up there and so I will kindly ask the coach to look in my direction for a chance.”
Ghana survived a late scare to qualify to the 2013 African Youth Championship despite losing 3-1 in Rabat on Sunday.
They won the first leg 4-1 at home.
