Prince Owusu could be retained as the assistant coach of Ghanaââ¬â¢s National Under-20 team despite concerns over his coaching credentials, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt.Ã
The ex-Tema Youth man deputized for Maxwell Konadu as the country secured qualification to the 2013 African Youth Championship.
But his appointment was met with wild criticism after it emerged he lacked the requisite CAF qualification badge to be handed the job.
Critics have argued that he should not have been appointed in the first place having failed to secure a Caf intermediate coaching certificate despite his rich CV as a youth developer.
But GAHANAsoccernet.com understands the Ghana FA will keep faith with the former Prampram Royals coach to assist newly appointed coach Sellas Tetteh.
The 2013 African Youth Championship will be held between March 13-30 in Algeria.
