Prince Owusu is leaving his post as coach of Medeama to serve as an assistant to Kwesi Appiah at Sudanese club Al Khartoum.

The former Tema Youth trainer will be joining the former Ghana coach in his new job with the North African giants.

Owusu emerged the preferred choice of Kwesi Appiah to be his number two.

The Al Khartoum top hierarchy have accepted Kwesi Appiah’s preference as part of his terms of conditions.

The duo are expected to arrive in Sudan next week to officially sign onto the deal.

Prince Owusu will thus quit his post as head coach of Ghana Premier League club Medeama – a job he only took earlier this year.

Owusu also served briefly as the assistant coach of the Ghana U20 national team.
