Pressure back on Mas-Ud Dramani at Kotoko following AshGold defeat
Mas-Ud Dramani is under pressure at Kotoko

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has come under pressure once again following his side’s 2-0 defeat to AshantiGold on Sunday.

The champions’ fine pre-season form was brought to an end by their regional rivals before their home fans in Kumasi over the weekend.

The top hierarchy at the club have since been holding series of meetings over the future of their coach who is reportedly on a GHS 9000 (over $2,800) monthly wage.

Some of the officials feel Dramani has not showed enough in pre-season to inspire confidence amongst their supporters ahead of their impending Champions League campaign.

Kotoko have failed to make the group stage of the continental contest for the past three seasons under Dramani and Sunday’s defeat to AshGold appears to have reminded the fans of this poor record.

Some sections of the Kotoko fans feel the former national team coach must be fired to make way for the appointment of a more ‘competent’ hand ahead of the commencement of the Champions League.

Club officials have however remained mute about the situation as meetings continue to firm up a decision whether to stick or do away with Mas-Ud Dramani.
