Ghana's World Cup opponents Portugal have lined up a friendly against Egypt in May to help them prepare to face the Black Stars at the tournament in Brazil in June.

Portugal will face the Pharaohs in London on 25 May as part of their preparations for the world football's flagship event.

The Black Stars will take on the Portuguese in the final Group G match on 26 June at the Estadio Nacional in Brasilia.

The Europeans have lined up the friendly against the Egyptians to give them a fair idea of playing against African sides.

This will prepare them to face Ghana in their last group match at the World Cup in Brazil.

Portugal's friendly against Egypt is timely for the Europeans as the Pharaohs faced Ghana in the playoffs for the World Cup.

Ghana whitewashed Egypt on that occasion but the Portuguese are hoping to pick some valuable lessons from the match to help them take on the Black Stars.

Egypt, who have not played a match since the 2-1 win over Ghana in World Cup Qualification, will begin their quest to qualify for the 2015 AFCON held in Morocco in July, after failing to appear at the previous two editions.
