Ghana winger Christian Atsu was left out of the FC Porto squad in their opening league win over Vitoria Setubal on Sunday.
The 21-year-old has been banished from the first team as his agitation for a move away from the Portuguese champions wages on.
Atsu was left behind to train with the reserves as the first team went on to beat Setubal in their opening league match on Sunday.
This clearly shows Porto are bent on punishing the player for declaring his interest to leave the side.
Porto have placed an outrageous 10m Euros on his head to ward off interests.
Paulo Fonseca’s side appear not prepared to sell the youngster who is out of contract at the end of the just started season.
They however do not want to use the Ghanaian in a bid to force him to renew his running out contract.
