Play Soccer Ghana to organize Sports development seminar on Friday

Play Soccer Ghana, an NGO, will hold the second sports for development seminar in Cape Coast on Friday.

This year’s programme is under the topic: Socio Economic impact of Ghana's participation in the 2014 World Cup.

It will take on at the Centre for Continuing Education, University of Cape Coast.

Rex Danquah, Chief Operation Officer for the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana, will be the main speaker.

He will seek to explore the benefits that accrue to the country as a result of participating in the 2014 World Cup.

Other speakers and resource persons are Former Ghana FA chairman Nana Brew Butler, Dr. Joseph Ogah, Head of dept. HPER,UCC, Vice Chancellor or Pro-Vice Chancellor as chair, Dr. Bello Bella Bitugu, Director of Sports, University of Ghana, Professor Ampiah Ghartey, Dean of Faculty of Education, University of Cape coast.

The Occasion will also be used to honor personalities like Mr. Ben Koufie, Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi and Tony Baffoe (PLAYSOCCERGHANA AMBASSADOR) for their roles in the construction of the Oguaa Football for Hope Centre thereby promoting development through sports.
