  1. GH FUO, THINK BIG!!! says:

HAVING SEEN GYAN’S CAREER OVER TJE YRS. I HONESTLY DONT THINK HE DESERVES TO BEAT ABEDI’S RECORD AS THE PLAYER WITH THE MOST GOALS FOR GH. I PREFER ABEDI KEPT THE RECORD. GYAN SIMPLY HASNT SHOWN THE CONSISTENT QUALITY LIKE ABEDI HAS….UAE LEAGUE HAS MADE GYAN A SOFT STRIKER. SIKA Y3 D3….

    • papa says:

stop saying these negative things we are really tired of you people. go post somewhere else and leave Gyan alone. he is working for the nation while u sit on ur couch talking nonsense

  2. Kwesi says:

Gh fuo think big,I read all your comments about the BS players and the management team and you never seem content abt their performance. It is a good thing to always expect more of people. However,if you can sometimes channel some of these criticisms into encouraging them don’t you think it will be good?I know it’s typical of many Ghanaians to always criticise as long as it does not suit them but sometimes sit back and say ,hey hang on what have I got from that? The quality of striking is naturally low in the tournament.why do u want to single out Gyan ?Its about the team and not him.fair enough,he missed some good chances but his through passes have led to a goal and a penalty for Gh.Did You forgot to comment on it.Its He plays in UAE so what?It doesn’t make any difference to me.it’s a matter of choice.Assess his overall performance and stop talking abt goals.Gyan is now passed that stage where everyone expects him to score in every game.He still remains our number 1 striker..

  3. May his peace prevails says:

Kwesi please be careful because he(GH FUO) will reply back to insult you. He is very negative and sorry to say, very unciciviliazed I wonder how old he is.

  4. African Consciousness says:

It is all about efficiency if Gyan converts more balls into the net than Abedi Pele then the record books will have to acknowledge him as to number one scorer for Ghana regardless of how good Abedi Pele was in his playing days. Gyan is not flashy but when he is on he can get the job done. I wish he breaks Abedi Pele’s record in this AFCON 2013. I will never forget that he scored the fastest goal in World Cup history, I will never forget the goal he scored against USA in the World Cup on these very shores.

How many goals did Abedi Pele score for Ghana in the World Cup. I have a very good long memory. These players in their own way made contributions to the Black Stars and we must not try to bash one against the other. They are all Black Stars. Go Black Stars long live African football.

  5. African Consciousness says:

Gyan has brought me great joy and I will never betray him. I want him to do more but I respect the guy and I believe him when he says he is being marked out of the games. I was at the 2006 World Cup in Germany when he went after the Czech Republish without fear. He has only missed one opportunity, it was the through ball from Badu when he was one on one with the DR Congo goalie but the goalie was well positioned and he had a tough angle. This guy is the real deal. Let’s cherish him.
