The jersey is very cute, beating USA 6-1 in it will be great

  2. Alton Gordon says:

Who are the designers for Puma as the garbage outfits, skin tight, bland and so darn ugly, they have been putting out for their clients all over the world are sorely lacking in class and style, qualities that they were once so famous for.Now it is three World Cups that Ghana has qualified for and still the GFA,obviously suffering from some form of inferiority complex, continue to make the national teams parade around in these bloody ugly white kits instead of the beautiful national colours of the country. And why have the people and governments of Ghana not protest against this disrespect towards the gloriously beautiful colours of the flag?Just this week Adidas released images of the new look kit for the Super Eagles and already there has been protest because the green put out by Adidas is not the national green that is represented in the flag of Nigeria!!! What are Ghanaians and by extention the GFA all suffer from this stupid backward neo-colonial mentality that “white is right and brings goodluck”? Why not then throw out the red, green, black and gold and replace them with an all white flag? Really Ghana is this what you are all proud of seeing the team parading in Brazil…..this ugly piece of garbage, which smack of the continued disrespect and sheer utter contempt that puma continue to display towards it’s African clients?IS THIS WHAT YOU ARE ALL PROUD OF AFTER THREE WORLD CUP APPEARANCES?

    • BoscoGh says:

You may have some valid points there but you need also to appreciate the fact that national team jerseys do not always/automatically represent national flags.Just check out Italy as an example. their all blue outfit do not represent any part of their flag.

I agree with you though on an ideal situation of branding our national team in our colours.

    • nii tetteh says:

AMEN!!! To say am disgusted at this piece of garbage is an understatement. I just cannot fathom how any rational and proud Ghanaian can look at this 19th century outfit and sanction its approval for the use of our senior national team in the world cup of all competitions. Till we get rid of these crooks at the FA that only have a belligerent knack for stealing money and no sense of decency let alone excellence, we are doomed to seeing this kind of ridiculous outfits on our teams for a long time to come. This is a mockery of our maturity as a nation. Very incredulous!!!!

  3. Mannie says:

aaaahhhhh, verrrry ugly.. wtf is this?

  4. Michael USA says:

Wow what a nice jersey,I am getting 2 of the jerseys for myself and my girlfriend

  5. stonegee says:

This is really nice especially the white one.Ghana my country

  6. stonegee says:

Puma should continue with their beautiful job, I saw the Nigerians jerseys and it was rubbish, I thank God ours is very neat and attractive

  7. Ghost of Sparta says:

Mr. Alton, i shall agree with the superstition part but the rest of your comment i most definitely disagree. The colors come from Ghana, we tell puma what color to use. They don’t design anything and throw it at us. I think the incorporation of the Kente-like design is brilliant and rather represents a part of our culture. Maybe instead of hating on puma that much, you should say what colors you really want to be in the kits.

  8. johnny says:

They look good. I’d make the shorts a bit less tight.

  9. ghanaba says:

Well, I really don’t like da away Jersey, I think it’s just needed a bit more of da yellow colour, but I think da white is cool, the red just looks too raw for me.

  10. ghanaba says:

I can understand ur point Mr. Alton, is bad going back to our yellow Jersey it spoke well for us as Ghanaians hw rich we are not only in resources but culture too, I mean where from, I like the white because it’s speaks a bit more of what I’m talking about, but in my opinion it should be our away Jersey. And one more thing, I think we should share our views in more civilized manner by not attacking anything we hear or see that we may not like or opposed to, Mr.Alton is talking about showing our culture by demonstrating dat in our national colours, but attacking this does not also represent our culture as in a way we were brought up, we should learn to share our views in respectful way

  11. Alton Gordon says:

@Ghost of Sparta, please read carefully what was typed.

  12. Alton Gordon says:

@BoscoGH,you do have a point there my brother but if you check the “AZZURE” -blue-is actually the secondary colour of Italy and is a colour normally represented in most European flags. You might or might not know but”BLACK” is actually THE secondary colour of GHANA and NOT white!!!

  13. Unknown says:

The white outfit is absolutely amazing! Love the subtle African touches :)
