PFAG empathises with bereaved Ghana duo

The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana has sent words of condolence to bereaved Black Stars players; Asamoah Gyan and John Boye.

Gyan's mother, Cecilia Love Amoako, died in a car crash in Accra while Boye's father succumbed to a short illness - all within a week.

The unfortunate developments have seen solidarity messages pouring in from all angles.

And now the PFAG have also added their voice to the growing messages of condolence.

"All the members of The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana would like to express their deepest sympathies and condolences to Asamoah Gyan and his family upon the tragic passing of his mother,to John Boye and his family for the tragic lost of his dear Father," a statement signed by PFAG Secretary General Anthony Baffoe read.

"The Association pledges his undying support to the Gyan Brothers and Family as well to John Boye and his family.

"May their souls rest in perfect peace."
