The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana has thrown their support behind the Black Stars for June's 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Ex-Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe-who is General Secretary of Association-visited the team before Friday's training session in Accra.

"On behalf of the PFAG, I want to wish you the best of luck in the upcoming two matches against Lesotho and Zambia," PFAG General Secretary Anthony Baffoe said.

"Don't forget you are Ghana, you are the Black Stars, you are not scared of anybody and I'm hundred percent sure that you are going to make it."

"It is very important that we all stick together closely and that you are all behind the new technical team especially the newly appointed coach," he said.

The PFAG is the local chapter for FIFPro and is made up of current players like Michael Essien and Stephen Appiah.

It also includes celebrated former players like Abedi Pele, Anthony Yeboah, Kwame Ayew, Samuel Kuffuor, Marcel Desailly and Augustine Ahinful to name a few.
