Several fans who have queued to purchase tickets for Ghana’s deciding World Cup qualifier against Zambia are growing increasingly furious over the slow pace of the process.
Some of the passionate supporters say they have been queuing since as early as dawn just to get a ticket to witness Friday’s match at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The situation has not been helped with the centralized ticket sales point at the venue of the match.
Fans from all over the country and indeed foreigners have to travel to the only sales point – the Baba Yara Stadium – to purchase a ticket for the match.
The slow pace of the sales process has however angered many of the queuing fans who are now calling on officials to make immediate changes in speeding up the process.
“I sometimes don’t understand our officials,” an obviously riled fan told Metro941.com.
“If they know they can’t handle this process they should let us know so that we stay at home.
“We have a lot of things beside buying tickets to watch a match.”
