Nii Adjei off to join new side TP Mazembe

Daniel Nii Adjei has said his final goodbye’s to Asante Kotoko as he leaves to join TP Mazembe.

Last season’s Ghana Premier League Most Valuable Player has been sold to the DR Congo giants for an undisclosed fee.

The Ghana international played his last game for Kotoko in Sunday’s 0-0 draw with rivals Asante Kotoko.

The 23-year-old in his parting words, urged the fans to remain loyal and resolute in their support for the team.

“I would like to thank the whole Kotoko fraternity for the love and prayers they offered me during my time with the club,” he told Angel FM.

“If it wasn’t for them, I probably wouldn’t have attained my current status.

“I will urge the supporters not to despair but rather have extreme confidence in the team and the coaches.

“The fact that I am going doesn’t mean Kotoko comes to s stand still. The club is much bigger than any player and therefore it will forever remain.”
