Parma’s Ghanaian young midfielder Godfred Adolf has vowed to fight his way into the next Ghana Under-20 team.

The 18-year-old has been developing through the Parma youth set up since joining them in 2008 from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.

“I’ve always look for the opportunity to play for my country so I think this is the best chance for me to make impact. I’m working hard enough,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“My coaches always tell me I have the potential to play like Michael Essien. I will definitely be in the Ghana U20 side.”

Adolf plays alongside former Ghana Under-20 defender Bright Addae and David Appiah at Parma .

OJ let us not cures our stars for we are destined to produce world class mildfielders who can mirraculously lead us to victory where it matters most. Seeyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

we having many mid fielders is very good. Without good midfield defense will always be under pressure. Ghana fans should be happy with what we have. Strikers don’t just fall from the sky, for Black Stars, our strikers mostly come from the local league. There are many in the local league all they need is exposure and development, and that is where our coaches need to work hard to unearth them.

  6. FIFA ONE says:

This is because of our way of playing soccer here in Ghana as it have been said by Mourinho ,in every corner of Ghana we like to play small poles football that have always resulted us producing mildfielders than Strikers and its normal in Ghana as we liked skills when playing than scoring of goals.

  7. texas says:

I agree with you FIFA ONE. Mourinho did say that and that a fact. That is why most of Black Stars goals are scored by our midfielders.

  8. Oyisha says:

During our colts days, the goal posts are smaller and the field is like a quarter of the actual field. The players are crammed on the pictch so we tend to possess the ball and pass arround. this has enabled Ghana to produce a lot of midfielders. We have to get coaches that can build the teams arround these midfieldera since we have them in abundance and they come naturally to us.It is not a bad thing to have a lot of midfielders.
